Holy Eucharist (also called the Bread of Heaven, and the Bread of Angels) is a sacrament and a sacrifice in which Our Savior Jesus Christ, body, blood, soul and divinity, is contained, offered, and received under the appearances of bread and wine. We receive Holy Communion kneeling (when possible) and on the tongue. Holy Viaticum is received during a serious illness, and at the hour of death.
If not baptized at MPBP, we must have a copy of the baptismal certificate before scheduling this sacrament. Also, a brief meeting with the priest is required to determine readiness.
First Holy Communion can be scheduled by email [email protected] or text 918-615-8404.
