SCHEDULE

7:00-7:45 AM Mass

7:45-8:15 AM Continental breakfast, break out get to work

8:15-12:00 PM Work time

12:00-12:30 PM Sack lunch

12:30- 4:00 PM Work time

4:00- 8:00 PM Parish Picnic, barbecue (NOTE:  You can come to the picnic even if you can’t make the work day.)

Proposed Work Items

Exterior

Landscape Crew

  • Mulch under swing sets (box blade, sod cutter, etc.)
  • Remove old swings (need manpower and trailer)
  • Burn the pallets (part of church picnic bonfire?)
  • Brush clearing/branch clearing from edges of property (need chainsaws, branch cutters etc.)
  • Remove concrete parking bumpers behind church (need manpower and a trailer)
  • Concrete parking pad removal? (jackhammer/skid steer req.)

Build/metal crew

  • Remove the flag pole (need a cutting torch or angle grinder)
  • Remove basketball goal with no backboard (need cutting torch or angle grinder)
  • Weld metal gate by the field (need a welder)
  • Plug up bird and wasp entry (need manpower and verification that the nests are empty prior to plugging)
  • Plug joint along the wall (an outdoor construction grade silicone would suffice)

Planting Crew

Interior

  • Soundstage removal… (need replacement drywall, tools, supplies)
  • Clean/organize storage areas

Easter Schedule

Holy Thursday – Holy Mass at 7:00 p.m. with adoration until midnight

Good Friday – Good Friday Liturgy at 3:00 p.m.

Holy Saturday – 10:00 p.m. Vigil followed by Holy Mass

Easter Sunday – Low Masses at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

Stations of the Cross

Bible Timeline Starts this Week

Following the 6 pm Holy Mass this Wednesday, January 31, we will begin “The Bible Timeline-The Story of Salvation.”

Upcoming Parish Mission

Sunday, February 4th – 9th

Most Precious Blood Parish will be having a parish Mission with Fr. Collins of The Missionaries of St.John the Baptist.

The Mission will consist of a kick off on Sunday, February, 4th where Fr.Collins will introduce the topic of the Mission at the 11am Mass.

Catechism classes will be held each morning Monday through Thursday after Mass.

Fr.Collins will also be saying Holy Mass each evening and giving the Mission Talk afterwards at 7pm.

We would like to thank Fr.Define who has very graciously given us this opportunity before the Season of Lent begins!

Please join us for The Mission, beginning Sunday, February 4th – 9th!

I will be sending out a sign up sheet for those of you who can help with evening snacks. All Mass times to be announced.

40 Days for Life Kickoff Rally

September 27, at 6 pm in the Garden of Hope (6135 E. 32nd Place, Tulsa). From September 27 through November 5, you’re invited to join other Christians for 40 Days for Life – 40 days of prayer and fasting for an end to abortion. You’re also invited to stand and peacefully pray during a 40-day vigil at the Garden of Hope, and also to help spread the word about this important community outreach.
