All parishioners are welcome to attend the monthly potluck luncheon (third Sundays of the month), this Sunday, July 17, after the 11 a.m. Holy Mass.
Please bring your favorite dish to share!
Children’s Holy Hour of Adoration will be held Wednesday, July 13, starting at 11 a.m.
This is a beautiful time for mothers to bring their babies, toddlers and young children to Adore Our Lord in the Most Blessed Sacrament!
Prayers, hymns, chant, and benediction are said in an atmosphere that little hearts can pray in! Father will be available for confessions during the holy hour. Please join us and feel free to bring a lunch for fellowship and playing following the holy hour.
While our roof is being replaced, please watch for stray nails in the parking lot, particularly close to the building (we don’t want any punctured tires). You may want to park near the ball field until the project is completed.
While the regular feast day for The Most Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ occurs on Friday, July 1 (which also happens to be a First Friday), we will observe the External Solemnity of the Most Precious Blood on Sunday, July 3. We hope you’ll join us for both.
Friday, July 1 – Holy Masses are at 12pm, with 6pm Holy Hour and 7pm Holy Mass.
Sunday, July 3 – Holy Masses are at 9am (Low) and 11am (High).
According to Tulsa World, thousands attended today’s ordination of the fourth bishop of Tulsa. Follow this link to read their article.
Luke Neubauer will be confirmed before Holy Mass at 7:00 PM.
Fr. William Define and the members of Most Precious Blood Parish extend a very warm welcome to Bishop-Elect David Konderla of Austin, Texas.
All are invited to attend the Solemn Sung Vespers on Tuesday, June 28, at 6:30 p.m. at Holy Family Cathedral.
Ordination Mass to occur on June 29, at 2 p.m. at The University of Tulsa at Donald W. Reynolds Center Arena, 11th Street at Harvard.
Bishop Konderla will celebrate Mass at Holy Family Cathedral, Thursday, June 30, at 5:05 p.m.

Our website is new but the location is the same: www.mpbptulsa.com.
We’re using a new CMS (Content Management System) administered by your secretary. It scales itself to be viewed on desktop/laptop computers, iPads/tablets, and smartphones. Be aware that smaller screens are more difficult to navigate, especially with long drop down menus like Groups.
We’re striving to provide timely information flow to our parishioners through various means: 1) website news, 2) parish announcement emails, and 3) Sunday bulletins.
We hope you enjoy the changes.
As most of you are aware, every time we receive a significant amount of rain, it rains inside our parish too! We are getting a new, pitched (not flat) roof. The project is gearing up again after some fits and starts with permits, engineering consultations, contractor scheduling, and weather delays. Please be patient and understanding while this project takes place; we will strive for a minimum of disruptions to daily parish life.
We will not consider indoor renovations, i.e. patching drywall and painting, until the new roof is completed and proves sound.
Another important project is our parking lot. The process of selecting contractors and obtaining professional advise regarding repairing or replacing is underway.
Thank you all as we work hard to make our parish look much more Catholic.
